Author Guidelines

[ENGLISH]

General structure: We recommend using the IMRyD/IMRAD model, following the logical organizational structure: introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, and final considerations/conclusions.

Technical Standards / References: to standardize the production published in the scientific journal more effectively, manuscripts should strictly follow the standards of the American Psychological Association (APA), with flexibility for the 6th or 7th edition (although it is highly recommended to use the most recent one).

REVIEW POLICY

Articles submitted to Review undergo the following process:

1) Plagiarism Check: Utilizing the iThenticate software with a tolerance threshold of <3%.

2) Scientific and Methodological Suitability Check: Conducted by a member of the Editorial Scientific Committee.

Peer Review: Upon passing stages 1 and 2, the article is assigned for blind peer review by external national and international reviewers or experts from the Editorial Scientific Committee.

Evaluation Criteria:
a. Clearly defined research problem.
b. Relevant and up-to-date theoretical framework, and its relation to the problem.
c. Methodology, which must not only be suitable for addressing the research question/objective but also clear and verifiable.
d. Reliable results that are explanatorily linked to the cited literature and the identified problem.
e. Conclusions and final considerations demonstrating the research's contribution and limitations.
f. Minimal technical formatting requirements (e.g. APA standards).

Editor's Decision:

  • Acceptance: When both reviewers concur in their assessment. Typically, this is either unconditional or conditional upon minor revisions.
  • Resubmission with Corrections: In cases of reviewer discrepancies, authors are advised to submit a revised version.
  • Rejection: When both reviewers recommend rejection.
Third Reviewer: In cases of reviewer discrepancies, the responsible Editor may opt for a third review. The editor may decide on exceptional cases without consulting a third reviewer.

On average, authors can expect to receive a first decision from the Editor within 2 to 4 weeks. However, this timeframe may vary depending on the journal's workflow.

Authors, reviewers, and responsible editors will be informed of decisions and stages throughout the process via the journal's platform.
